Shantaram
Shantaram is a drama thriller tv series created by Eric Warren Singer and Steve Lightfoot, based on the novel of the same name by Gregory David Roberts. The story drew inspiration from Roberts' own life, which is about a heroin addict who is incarcerated for a robbery, escapes prison and reinvents himself as a doctor in the slums of Bombay. The series will consist of twelve episodes directed by Justin Kurzel and Bharat Nalluri. The series premiered on October 14, 2022.
