Watch face shows up just fine.. but none of the Complications are functional. When you tap an icon (weather, or date for example) watch just opens up the Facer app.

That is normal. Facer complications do not link to other Apps on the Apple Watch - they obtain the required data and display it but don't send you to other Apps.
