I believe I might have answered you before on this topic - have you seen my previous answers? The DIM feature is controlled by the watch and the policy is set by the manufacturer. Typically, manufacturers force the display to dim after a few seconds and adjust the brightness so that the average pixel level is 18%. A fully white display in bright mode would therefore go to a uniform 18% grey. The only way to make a face not dim at all is to design a bright mode that is fully black with just 18% of the surface area ( marks, hands, etc. ) white. That way, the average pixel value is always 18% and the display should not dim ( unless a particular manufacturer has a different policy and forces it to dim further ). If you search through our collection of faces you will find some minimalist faces that will stay bright on many ( most ) smart watches.
