in both the dim mode and the active mode on the right side of your layers stack which is on the left side of your screen. that's where you add your elements. all you have to do is click on the dim mode with your mouse pointer. In the DIM mode for the hour hand and minute hand and click on the eyeball to dim the eyeball out and it won't show up in the dim mode.
