Permanent illumination? But when the AOD comes on all of the illuminated parts around the dial become the plain color. You know, some of us like the main watch face to be unchanged for the AOD, so that all of the onlookers in public can see it in all its glory and wish that they had it, lol. Especially now, because I had a Pixel Watch 2 and recently got the Pixel Watch 4, and now even when I use a watch face that has an AOD that is unchanged from the main watch face, my watch will run for 2-3 days! Whereas the Pixel Watch 2 would usually only run for a day or so. Anyway, this is still an awesome watch face. It's just that when I see that all of the illuminated parts around the dial become the plain color when it's in the AOD mode, that's what makes me decide not to use it. I'm not trying to be mean or anything. I'm just telling you that so that you know why some people might pass on a watch face like this.
