I have the Watch 5 as well and steps and heart beat work. First check and make sure all permissions are given to the facer watch face on the watch. If all permissions have been granted then I would try rebooting your watch. I also sometimes have this issue on a face from time to time. Rebooting always helps for me. To reboot the watch simply hold in the power button until the screen goes black and the watch restarts. If that doesn't help then I would try removing the face from your watch, restarting the watch, and then reinstalling it again. Hope this helps.
