Blue Eye Samurai
Blue Eye Samurai is an adult animated action streaming tv series created and written by husband and wife team Michael Green and Amber Noizumi, animated by French company Blue Spirit, and directed by Jane Wu. The action takes place during Japan's Edo period (17th century), and follows the quest for vengeance against four white men who illegally remain in Japan during the closing of its borders by the Tokugawa shogunate. The protagonist is an mixed-race half-white half-Japanese blue-eyed swordfighter named Mizu, voiced by Maya Erskine. Some of the other voice actors are Masi Oka, Darren Barnet, Brenda Song, George Takei and Kenneth Branagh. The series was released on November 3, 2023, consisting of 8 episodes.
