I have a Fossil Gen 5e. I've restarted & erased the face a few times. Still doesn't load properly all of a sudden.

Have you restarted your phone as well? Otherwise I'd check permissions even if you previously have them all enabeled on the watch. I have a Fossil Gen 6 and I have had to go in settings and re-enable permissions I know I have granted. What problems is the face having? I know people who might know more and can ask questions to see there are other things I have not thought of.
