mm Eclipse 2017 Corona
This is one of two images I took of the 2017 total eclipse. We went to Idaho to ensure clear skies. I wanted a night time face while sleeping that is dark and gives the time. This is a very simple dial face, but the image of the sun's corona shows some red solar prominence features. The pattern of solar winds is simply amazing, no matter the shot. What an experience it was! We were near The Spud Drive In Theater and even ate a burger there for lunch. * I've updated the AOD to display the eclipse image softly in the background.
