Mosquito MK-XIX
The Mosquito MK-XIX is a British twin-engined, shoulder-winged multirole combat aircraft, introduced during the Second World War. Unusual in that its frame was constructed mostly of wood, it was nicknamed the "Wooden Wonder”. In 1941, it was one of the fastest operational aircraft in the world. It was often flown in special raids, such as Operation Jericho – an attack on Amiens Prison in early 1944, and precision attacks against military intelligence, security, and police facilities (such as Gestapo headquarters). On 30 January 1943, the 10th anniversary of the Nazis' seizure of power, a morning Mosquito attack knocked out the main Berlin broadcasting station while Hermann Göring was speaking, taking his speech off the air.
Design:
The watch face design pulls inspiration directly from the dials and gauges found within the cockpit of the Mosquito. The large numbers with alternating colors were easy to read. Also incorporated is the data wheel at 3 o’clock, which is the same design found on the altimeter of the aircraft. You can also find the same hand design in the cockpit.
Instructions:
- Tap the Trafford logo to change the theme color.
- Tap the data label just above the 6 o’clock marker to change the data wheel reading. This cycles between battery level, steps, distance travelled, heartrate, current temperature, 24 hour time, UTC time, and date.

Can you fix your fantastic watch face for those, like me, who has the new Watch 8 Classic? That would be fantastic!
Can I just say, you make THE best looking faces on this entire platform. Stunning to look at. I'd take a real copy of this in a heartbeat, just FYI 😂
As much as I really like this watch face, there are a couple of points that prevent me from loving it: • I don't know what it is about this face with a single complication, but it drains the heck out of my Watches compared to other faces with many more complications running. • I don't know if the fluorescence for AOD is causing the drain, but ether way, I don't like the look or even the idea of the fluorescence for AOD, since it ruins the look of the face, and there shouldn't be extra luminance for AOD. I would prefer something less for AOD.
Iove this face, but if you change the original color to something else there is no way to go back to the stock olive drab. Please include that color or a means of reverting to stock.
