Hi,
Thanks for the brilliant watch face. My dad was with 27 Sqn at Scampton (among other places) during the late 50s and early 60s. They were the first sqn to be equipped with the Avro Vulcan B2 V bomber and they were also the planes my dad worked on.
Would it be possible to put this plane on the 27 sqn watch face? My dad passed away in 1990 and it would be a great way for me to commemorate him.

Dear Heather, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to make this watch. Along with the English Electric Lightning the Avro Vulcan holds the spot as my favourite airplane of all time. I have had the honour of seeing one of these in flight and it was an experience to behold. The ground trembled and the engines let out their mighty howl as the aircraft lifted off. It was an experience that I will never forget.
The aircraft featured on this watch was delivered to 27 Sqn. in 1962. The white colour scheme shows that it was equiped as a Bluesteel nuclear bomber. Later on in her life she was converted into a conventional bomber and then a tanker before being retired in 1984.
I think your father would have known this plane well during his time in 27Sqn.
