Nova Core 1 - Cobalt
The Nova Core 1 is the first of many watches using a unique numeral system. It is at once vexing to the onlooker while quick and easy to read once adjusted to its design. This version of the Core 1 appears in an elegant blue & gold metallic color scheme.
Reading the Nova Core 1: Time is represented as a combination of radii - which represent one - & chords - which represent two. Subitizing these lines gives the time in hours (represented in base 12) and minutes, reading from the outermost ring inward. Seconds are easily read from a central meter. When dimmed, the seconds meter goes away & is replaced by an AM/PM indicator, which conserves battery.
