The Lincoln Memorial is a must see Wash DC location. This is a shot from the WWII Memorial. I've spent many hours walking DC in the past. It takes a lot of late nights, time and patience to get pictures with few or no people in them. I shot most by taking multiple bracket shots using my daypack as a “tripod” since they don’t allow them at the main monuments. I hope you enjoy these photos.

when I visited Washington DC, this was the most breathtaking sight of all. my knees trembled as I was about half way up the steps, and caught sight of this realistic statue . 😳 he seems to make eye contact. 😳
