Undoubtedly, the Valknut is one of the most famous and popular Viking symbols and is considered the symbol of Odin.

It represents the transition from life to death and vice versa. It also stands for Odin and the power to be able to bind and loosen.
The word "valknut" is made up of two different words: "valr" means killed warrior and "knut" means knot.
This fascinating Viking symbol, Valknut, has been found in many northern tombs and monuments. It consists of 3 triangles, sometimes drawn in a single line, i.e. unicursal, and sometimes in a Borromean style, and which have been derived in many other ways to this day.
According to Nordic belief, Odin, the god of death and war, in Norse mythology, would welcome the warriors slain / killed in battle in Valhalla (the hall of slaughter).
