Hurrican
Hurricane is called a tropical cyclone in the northern Atlantic Ocean (including the Caribbean and the Gulf of Mexico) and in the North Pacific east of longitude 180° and in the South Pacific east of longitude 160° east. This must reach at least hurricane force, i.e. wind force 12 on the Beaufort scale (this corresponds to more than 64 knots or 118 km/h or approx. 32.9 m/s).
