One of my favourite racing drivers (and racing car producers of course) off all time... Bruce McLaren. I wanted to have a face that reminded me of him and his work not only as a competitive driver but also the cars he engineered through his short career. He died at 32, while testing at Goodwood circuit as many others at that era. But the legacy still lives with the team with many race and championships won. I tried to put some elements from that era of motorsports. In a hostalgia sense perhaps, but I love the cars of the time more than modern F1 cars. The drivers seemed to have more influence on the design (Bruce is a remarkable example himself), and the risque they were taking was phenomenal. This (4) is one of the many different race numbers Bruce used. The papaya orange was reflected, with sporty date window. A complete dark theme with black background and lume was used. If I was using pro version I would love to add some racing photos of the car and Bruce himself and of course I would love to add a real and functional chrono because the face asks for it.
