Standard issue watch of the South African Air Force, circa 1980, featuring a 60 minute chronograph and “fading” indicators to keep the already-busy face uncluttered and minimal. This is a very interesting watch face design, yet it can also be uniquely confusing with a seconds sub-dial at 9 o'clock plus the four hands at the center spindle: * Yellow lumed hours & minutes hands * White chrono seconds hand (diamond shaped) * White chrono minutes hand (wing shaped) Chronograph controls, see also controls image: tap 2 o'clock to start/stop, tap 3 o'clock to reset. Available in 2 versions: with chronograph (VR108) and without chronograph (VR108f).
