okay, Tony Gustin pointed out that in AOD display, this went all black screen. turns out as I never use AOD myself, I've never looked into that. turns out that when you save a watch face, without checking on all the AOD options in dark mode, people who do use that, will get a blank screen, which means all the faces I've made, AOD will not display anything.
