WATCH FACE FOR WEAR OS (LEGACY), Tizen & WEAR OS (WFF)

VR052b Archie's Puzzle

A most unique and interesting 1800s antique watch. Based on the design specifications of an expired US Patent Office document filed in 1888 by Archibald Bannatyne, this design does not seem to have ever been manufactured. It may not be very practical, but it is a unique novelty. This watch doesn’t tell time in any traditional way: instead it tells you either how many minutes have passed the current hour (before the bottom of the hour) , or how many minutes are still left to the next hour (at and after the bottom of the hour). Before reaching 30 minutes past the hour, the "jump-hour" disk indicates the current hour, and the time is read as "x minutes past" the hour. At and after 30 minutes past the hour, the hour disk indicates the next hour, and the time is read as "x minutes to" the hour. Features fading complications to keep the dial minimal and uncluttered: date, digital time, and battery level all fade out after several seconds of activating the display. To see them again at full, simply go into dim mode or swipe to another screen (depends on watch model), then reactivate the watch face again. Available in two versions: white (VR052w) and black (VR052b).
