DC Extended Universe
The DCEU is a media franchise and series of superhero films and television series, distributed by Warner Bros, based on characters that appear in comic books by DC Comics. The films have been in production since 2011, and in that time, Warner Bros has distributed nine films, with several others in various stages of development. The films are written and directed by a variety of individuals and feature large, often ensemble casts. Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill, Gal Gadot, Margot Robbie, Ezra Miller, Jason Momoa, Ray Fisher, and Zachary Levi, among others, star in several films. The first film in the DCEU was Man of Steel and next, it will expand to Zack Snyder's Justice League director's cut and Peacemaker tv series.
