This should work on s11. Are you getting a blank face with the time? If so, you can try one of two things. Remove the face and resync it to your watch. Then open the facer app wait a minute and go back to the face. If that doesn't work then remove the face again, uninstall facer and reinstall it on both watch and phone. Resync the face to your watch and it should load then. Sometimes when I have faces in general that this happens to that's what I do to fix it.
