Yin & Time is a minimalist digital watch face inspired by the timeless philosophy of Yin and Yang. Instead of using the symbol merely as decoration, the design transforms it into the time display itself—hours and minutes coexist in perfect balance, each occupying its own complementary half.
The upper dark hemisphere presents the hours in warm golden numerals, while the lower ivory hemisphere displays the minutes in deep charcoal, creating a striking visual contrast that remains harmonious and effortless to read. Rich ornamental carvings flow naturally throughout both halves, blending luxurious craftsmanship with symbolic meaning. The engraved Nana signature becomes part of the artwork itself, as though it were carved by a master artisan rather than simply placed on the dial.
Every curve, texture, and highlight has been designed to express equilibrium: light and shadow, simplicity and detail, tradition and modern technology. Yin & Time is more than a digital watch face—it is a quiet reminder that time itself exists because of balance.
Always-On Display (AOD)
The Always-On Display preserves the spirit of the original design while minimizing power consumption. The intricate ornamentation gently recedes into soft shadow, allowing the hour and minute numerals to remain the primary visual focus. Essential information—steps, battery, heart rate, and temperature—appears discreetly around the perimeter in warm neutral tones, maintaining perfect visual balance without disturbing the symmetry of the Yin and Yang composition. The result is an elegant, calm AOD that feels timeless, readable, and refined throughout the day.
