you should definitely keep the picture the same when i switches over to AOD

The point of AOD is to prevent the draining of battery, prevent the screen from burning in, and prevent overheating of the device if you're not actively using or watching the screen. AOD would be pointless if it were the same as the active screen. What you can do is extend the screen timeout to the maximum. But that's the best you and I can do.
