hi vincent, the rotating bezel is good for short times. for instance you go to the market to go grocery shopping and you need to get a prescription filled. and they tell you it'll be ready in 35 minutes. so you can move the bezel marker at 12:00 to the minute hand and then when the minute hand reaches 35 minutes on the outer bezel your prescription should be ready.
