I like it a lot but what are the numbers at the bottom of the shark. I know the ones at the center are the hour. it's not the day because that's not even close to the right day. confused?

thanks! the numbers you see are simply the rest of the hours wheel. this design is based on a real mechanical complication found on some mechanical watches. So I have created a wheel with the 12 hour digits on it. That wheel rotates to have the current hour visible through the window. The remainder of the wheel is partly visible through what I imagine to be a tinted glass so as to still have a view of that interesting complication :)
