Before the Iron-Spider, Peter Parker had to make his own suit of armor. Composed of a pseudo-metallic compound he developed, Spider-Man was virtually bulletproof. This watch, while stylish and functional, is not made of pseudo-metallic compound*. It will not stop a bullet. It will, however, tell you the time and date. Can the Iron-Spider do that?!
