during the always-on display, the "seconds" just freezes, and when I wake it up, it just jumps back to the position it's supposed to be and it's not premium at all.
either make sure that the "second" animation continues during always-on display, if not, then make sure the "seconds" hand disappears during always-on display like other watch faces.

hi there. there is no "like other watch faces" universal standard. Every designer can make that choice or not. For the first couple of years of doing these my own choice was to leave the seconds hand because it bothered me more to have it disappear than it did for it to jump on wake. Slowly I changed my view and now my standard practice is to hide the seconds hand in AOD. The one exception is in a dedicated small seconds dial like this one has. It's the sole function of that dial so for me it still looks more "wrong" to have the dial blank than it does to have the seconds hand freeze in AOD. Not everyone will agree, but I wear this these myself and this is how I like it. This kind of careful consideration that goes into every detail and decision is extra premium :) I'm still hoping one day that WearOS or Samsung, or whoever makes these decisions will allow the seconds hand to continue rotating in AOD on 3rd party apps like Facer as it does for some stock faces.
