Thanks, and sorry you are having issues. There are number of colour options for the dial ( changed via the "Dial Colour" button after the controls are unlcocked ). Most are fixed colours and do not change when you change the theme colour. Only one of the options changes with theme colour. The best way to find which of the Dial Colour options allow you to change the theme colour it to choose a really obvious theme colour in the theme picker and then change the "Dial Colour" opion until that obvious colour appears. You will then be able to change the colour of the dial using the Theme picker. Please let me know if you are still having issues. Cheers.
