Bloodmoon
For thousands of years the red colored moon has inspired the imagination of people from all cultures. Accordingly, many legends are still told today. The earth satellite owes the name “blood moon” to the Bible. Of course, the blood moon doesn't mean anything good there. Rather, it is a kind of early warning system for the apocalypse - a bad omen. As soon as the moon turns into blood, Christians are convinced that it will not take too long until the shift is in the shaft.
The Indians in the Amazon, on the other hand, believed that our little friend the moon was hit by an arrow and wounded and turned blood red as a result. In Greece, witches have a hand in it. For the Egyptians, the red moon stands for the eye of Horus, which the evil god Seth wanted to snatch under the nail. The Teutons, in turn, believed in a huge wolf named Hati, who triggered the total lunar eclipse and devoured the moon
