This is a photo of a Tamiya Tiger 1 Tank Mid Production model. I built WWII models when I was a teenager. I made them look shot up and battle weathered with highly detailed paint jobs. I got the idea of how funny the turret would look as a second hand. I dug out the old models and got some pics. This is my model photographed from above. The watch face features an analog and digital time display, date, current temperature and a weather conditions icon. The minute hand and second hand are the complete 88mm round fired by the Tiger 1 tank, and I know the entire round is not actually fired, just the projectile on the end. I wanted the round to be roughly the right proportion, and the brass shows up good against the black. "GIMPY" NOTE: When the Always On Display is on, the second hand tank turret will stop in the position it is in when the watch goes to sleep. If it stays asleep, when the time advances another minute the second hand turret will snap to the 12 o'clock position and stay there until the watch wakes up again.
