Egypt Eye Of Horus
Third part of the Egypt Series. The Horus eye is the left eye ("moon eye") of the light god Horus that was healed and restored by Thoth. It is also known as the Udjat or Udzat eye (udjat = intact, complete, whole, healthy).
Originally the symbol served as a means of protection and was used from the beginning of the Old Kingdom to the end of the Pharaonic era as an amulet and protective symbol against the "evil eye".

I would like to tell you I absolutely love your Egyptian eye and all the symbols like the tree of life and the ankh . I'm so into that at this point I my life and their meanings. I have been trying to paint all of them and the "om" symbol and it's meaning is beautiful. if you could maybe come up with one for strength and inner peace for me I would greatly appreciate your beautiful designs. my name is steph .thank you so very much for sharing your great pieces.
