My journey to designing timepieces hasn't followed a straight line; instead, it’s a truly multi-faceted collection of completely different chapters that taught me how to find harmony in structure, precision in data, and pure emotion in design. Beyond the design studio, my life is anchored by a wonderfully busy blended family. I hold the cherished memory of my late husband close to my heart, and today, life is full of love, laughter, and a bit of beautiful chaos. Together with my live-in partner, our days are centered around our incredible children, our partner's brilliant children, our beautiful grandchildren, and our beloved dogs who keep us all on our toes. To make this chapter even more special, my partner and I are stepping into an exciting new milestone as we enter into our civil partnership in late July 2026. Over the years, I have turned my hands to many more roles than I could ever mention, but a few defining experiences beautifully shape my creative outlook today: The Golden Era of Piano House: Before stepping into the design studio, my life was shaped by the legendary, uplifting rhythms of Old SkoolHouse. It was defined by those iconic, feel-good piano riffs, euphoric anthems, and purely happy, beautiful times. When that golden chapter eventually came to an end, it left behind a deep love for beautiful melodies and timeless classics—a vibrant harmony that I still inject into every watch layout I build. The Emergency Services & Travel Administration: From navigating the high-pressure, split-second data requirements of the front lines to managing the intricate logistics, precision, and details of travel administration, these chapters gave me a sharp eye for structure. They taught me the importance of making busy, complicated systems look smooth, organized, and elegant. Out of Court Resolutions: Today, my time is spent in out of court resolutions—a role centered entirely on balance, objectivity, and finding the perfect harmony between different perspectives. It requires a calm, structured approach to resolution, which directly mirrors how I approach a blank design canvas. The Evolution Every single one of these diverse, multi-faceted experiences channels directly into my timepiece layouts. Watch design is where the beautiful symmetry of complex logistics, the vital clarity of frontline services, the balanced harmony of resolutions, and the euphoric, timeless rhythm of those classic piano house days all collide. From classical Roman architecture to cutting-edge digital complications, my goal is to give you a wearable piece of art that brings a sense of balance and life to your wrist.
