Traditionally, a world timer is basically just a watch with a 24 hour GMT hand, and corresponding timezones listed around the edge of the watch. As the user changes the timezone, the 24 hour hand changes it's position, so that the wearer can always know what time it is at a given location on the globe. This future starts with the same basic format of cities listed around the edge of the design, but takes it a step farther by giving the user a live look at the earth, along with it's current shadow in that location. As you change the selected timezone using the left and right arrows, the earth rotates to put that timezone in the center. The shadow adjusts with the globe rotation, and makes it really easy to quickly see if it's day or night in the selected location. There is also a 24 hour hand for the selected location that rotates around the globe. At the bottom, you'll find a daylight savings selector, which adjusts the 24 hour dial an hour forward or backwards (I still think daylight savings should just not be a thing at all, but that's a different conversation!). There is also an accurate moonphase in the upper right of the design.\n\nInstructions:\n- Tap the left and right arrows to change the selected timezone. The timezone at the 12 o'clock position is selected. Upon install, it defaults to London, which is the standard UTC time. \n- Tap the sun at the bottom of the design to turn on or off daylight savings mode. If you're unsure if it is currently daylight savings time or not, simply select your current timezone and read where the 24 hour hand is. Then tap the daylight savings time icon until the main hour hand and 24 hour hand read the same (note that they will not necessarily be pointing in the same direction. 2:00 pm on the big hour hand is 14:00 on the 24 hour hand). \n- Tap the center logo to change the color theme.\n- The steps dial is set to 10,000 steps, with each dash representing 1,000 steps.\n\nWe hope you enjoy!","author_name":"Trafford Labs","author_url":"https://www.facer.io/user/FGtIUjVftB"}
